“Before starting at Saco & Biddeford Savings 10 years ago, I worked for a national lending platform out of Boston. When they were bought out by a Minnesota company, I was going to be required to be in Boston most days, which I didn’t want to do.
Coincidentally, at that same time, I was working on a deal that involved Phil Fearon, then-Senior Vice President and Director of Commercial Lending at SBSI. He mentioned that SBSI was looking for a lender, and I decided to take the leap. I’ve been working at our South Portland branch as the VP, Business Loan Officer II ever since.
The whole opportunity was great timing and a good fit. It was also kind of a full-circle moment, because from age 9 to 12, I played Little League baseball for a team sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings. It’s strange how life works sometimes.
When I’m not at work, you can find me playing golf. I’ve always been kind of a golf nut and started playing when I was 10 years old. All throughout college, I worked summers as an assistant to the pro at a club in Kennebunkport.
Golf has allowed me to travel to some pretty amazing places and have some great fun all over the world. I also have enjoyed gardening, traveling and skiing for many years.”
