I started working at Saco & Biddeford Savings as a part-time teller during college and completed an internship in accounting before my Senior year.
After college, I worked in Boston for a few years at a large accounting firm. While I enjoyed working in the city, I decided I wanted to work for a smaller organization where I could directly see how my work translated into the community.
When I saw there was a job opening at SBSI, I was at the point in my career where I was ready for a switch and took advantage of the great opportunity. I returned as the Assistant Treasurer for 6 years before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer 4 years ago.
My favorite part about working at SBSI is knowing I am part of an organization that is truly ingrained in the community. From helping friends and neighbors buy a new house or start a business, to helping out with local non-profits achieve their goals, the Bank and its employees are always there for others.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and two young daughters. In the summer, we like to play on the beach and explore the Saco River, and in the winter we enjoy skiing in the mountains.
